Sam Shepard arrested for drunk driving in New Mexico
New Delhi, May 27 (ANI): American actor Sam Shepard was recently arrested for drunk driving outside a restaurant in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Lt. Andrea Dobyns of the Santa Fe Police Department told a web portal that the officers could smell alcohol on the Pulitzer-winning playwright and he had bloodshot, watery eyes. He said that Sam performed their standard field sobriety tests during which officers observed enough clues to arrest him for the DUI. The Oscar-nominated actor is still in jail and police revealed that the actor needed to be arraigned before he was released.
