Salman hit and run case: Mumbai court to pronounce verdict today, fans remain curious

Mumbai, May 6 (ANI): A Mumbai sessions' court is set to pronounce its verdict on Wednesday in the hit-and-run case against Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The 49-year-old actor, who is now on his way to the court, is accused of running his vehicle on a pavement in suburb Bandra in Mumbai on September 28, 2002, killing one person and injuring four others. Khan has pleaded not guilty of the charges. Meanwhile, fans looked curious over the verdict in hit-and-run case involving the Bollywood actor. Many flocked outside the actor's residence in Mumbai. The 13-year-old case case took a curious turn when Khan's driver, Ashok Singh, told the court in March that he was driving the car which ran over people sleeping on a pavement. However, prosecution questioned the driver's silence over the last 12 years and accused him of lying under oath. Singh is the sole witness presented by the defense side in the case.
