SECURITY V/S NO SECURITY: EVMs REACH AT TN POLLING STATIONS
With less than 24 hours left for 39-seats Tamil Nadu to go to the 16th Lok Sabha polls the Electronic Voting Machines after putting in the sealed boxes have been sent to the polling stations in the capital city of Tamil Nadu amid tight security arrangements. At other end there is a constituency named Bodinayakannur seat in the same state where EVMs were carried on the back of mules. The story does not end here. The election officials had to walk through the stretch of 15 km jungle area to reach to the booths to dispense their responsibilities of conducting free and fair polls.
