SCHOOLS FAILING CHILDREN BY NOT FAILING THEM SAY STUDENTS (NNIS SPECIAL)
In a recent move, the Human Resource Ministry has decided to revise the old policy that promoted all the students from Class 5 and 8. Now, under the new policy, it will be mandatory for all students of Class 5 and 8 to clear the examination so as to get into next class. Not only the teachers but even students are in favour of this move. Most believe that by promoting a poor or below average student to the next class only adds to his reduced capability to understand what he will be taught in higher class.
