SC upholds Kasab s death sentence
New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): The Supreme Court today upheld the death sentence awarded to 26/11 accused Ajmal Kasab and rejected his appeal against his conviction and death sentence in the Mumbai terror attacks in which 166 people were killed. The apex court dismissed all the arguments on behalf of Kasab and in its judgement said that Kasab s primary offence was waging war against India. Earlier, Ajmal was sentenced to death for his role in the attacks by a special court in Mumbai on May 6, 2010.
