SC says review petitions by death row convicts may be heard in open courts
New Delhi, Sep 02 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Tuesday held that in the cases where the death sentence has been upheld by the apex court, the death convict may file a review petition in open court and will be accorded hearing by a Bench of three judges. However, in the cases, where the curative petition has already been decided, the death row convict will not have this opportunity to avail.
