Rs.50,000 per week is not enough: Dominican Republic Ambassador on demonetisation
New Delhi, Dec 07 (ANI): Asserting that one billion Indians have been affected due to demonetisation, Dean of Diplomatic Corps, Dominican Republic Ambassador Frank Hans Dannenberg Castellanos on Wednesday said that Rs.50,000 per week is not enough for the functioning of an embassy. The diplomatic community in Delhi has requested the government to consider offering a special privilege to diplomats based in India by enhancing the limit of withdrawals to at least $5,000 per transaction.
