Rhino rampage kills one, injures several others in Nepal
Makwanpur, Apr 1 (ANI): A rhino went on a rampage in Makwanpur district of Nepal, killing one woman and injuring several others before security personnel chased it back into the forest. The rhino had strayed into the town from the Chitwan National Park (CNP). Reportedly, the deceased has been identified as 61-year-old Hari Maya Dahal. The injured are undergoing treatment at a government hospital. Despite efforts from forest guards to corner the rhino, the wild animal reached the main hub of the city. After attacking several people, the rhino made its way into the bushes. The animal was provoked by the noise from the crowd, which made it charge indiscriminately at the people.
