Ratan Tata asks industry to rally behind PM Modi
Mumbai, April 18 (ANI): India's top business leader Ratan Tata asked India Inc to give "support and opportunity" to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for delivering on his promises. The comments come at a time when various business leaders including HDFC Chairman Deepak Parekh, Marico Group's Harsh Mariwala and the new CII President Sumit Mazumder remarked that the new government's reform measures needed to start reflecting on the ground. Stating that the Modi government had not even completed one year in office, Tata said that the new government should be given opportunity to fulfill its promise of a "new India". He was speaking at the convocation ceremony of Mumbai International School of Business Bocconi.
