Ram Jethmalani joins protest with ex-servicemen, says Modi should be ashamed of his acts
New Delhi, Aug 31 (ANI): Eminent Supreme Court lawyer and former BJP leader Ram Jethmalani on Monday joined ex-servicemen protesting over delay in One Rank One Pension at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. The Former BJP leader who had been at loggerheads with the Modi government for some time, said that the prime minister should be ashamed of his acts. Jethmalani assured of all the help and support to the defence veterans and said that he will help them in their cause. He also attacked Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and said that the latter was an enemy of the ex-servicemen and of the nation. He even challenged Jaitley to file a defamation case against him. The senior lawyer also criticized the politicians and said that the political leaders have let down the entire nation. One Rank One Pension scheme has been a long-standing demand of nearly 3 million ex-servicemen and war widows in the country.
