Rajasthan CM Raje holds meeting with UDH ministry, says Jaipur be made a 'greener city'

Jaipur, July 29 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje took yet another step forward in making the state of palaces and forts, greener and more beautiful. CM Raje held a meeting with the Urban Development department and Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) officials in Jaipur city and instructed them to create a different identity of the city. She called on the officials to take inspiration from Singapore and make Jaipur a city which gets acknowledged for not just 'its concrete structures but for its greenery too'. Raje called a meeting at the CM office and oversaw a presentation by Tata Projects Limited on the structure of the Amanishah Nala, and structural framework of the South Ring Road and Prithviraj Nagar. She asked the officials to finalise on the tender by October and complete the work by December, 2017. Raje also took stock of the proposed water bodies, walk ways and the plantation inside the premises of Amanishah Nala. She also directed to set up marine life for the beautification of the Amanishah Nala. Further, she also took stock of the proposed gas supply, electricity and water supply and sewage system to be developed at the South Ring Road.
