Rains, dust storms spirals down heat wave, brings relief
New Delhi/Kurukshetra, May 24 (ANI): Heavy rains and dust storm lashed the nation's capital and its surrounding areas last evening bringing much relief to the people. The mercury dropped to a pleasant 33 degrees Celsius after hovering around 45 degrees for the past two weeks. More rains are expected in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad and surrounding areas. The sudden change in weather affected operations at the Delhi airport too reducing visibility around the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) airport severely affecting landings and take offs.
