Railway officials seize 90 star turtles in UP
Kanpur, Sep 03 (ANI): Railway police seized 90 live star turtles and arrested two smugglers in Kanpur city of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. The police apprehended the two miscreants at Kanpur railway station when they were trying to smuggle the rare species to West Bengal. The two accused, identified as Arjun and Sanju, are residents of Sahjahanpur city of the state. The police have handed over the seized turtles to the forest department.
