Quota for disabled in Govt. jobs to be increased in Shimla
Shimla , Dec 04 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Saturday said that the disability quota in government jobs would be increased in the state. He said that as per their requirement the quota would be increased for the people who are specially-abled in the government sector. This move has been taken in view of encouraging the private sector so that they also provided jobs to such people. The specially-abled children are pleased with this initiative of the government. Himachal Pradesh has a 3% quota reserved for people with disability and yesterday on the occasion of World Disability Day, the Chief Minister announced to increase this to the maximum as required for them.
