Pro-Kannada organizations call for bandh against MWDT order
Hubli, July 28 (ANI): After KSRTC strike ended on Thursday, pro-Kannada organisations have now called for a state-wide shutdown. The shutdown call was given in the wake of Mahadayi Water Disputes Tribunal (MWDT) rejecting Karnataka government's plea for an interim order to allow the state to draw 7.56 tmcft of water from Mahadayi river to Malaprabha river. The state was paralysed for last three days due to strike of employees of KSRTC and BMTC.
