Prawn Masala - Recipe
Ingredients: Prawns - 1/2 kg
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
Cinnamon - a piece
Few Cloves
Cardamom pods - 2 nos.
Fennel Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Onions - 2 nos (finely chopped)
Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
Green Chillies - 2 nos (slit)
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Chili powder - 2 tsp
Puree of 2 Tomatoes
Salt
Few Curry Leaves
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Method:
1. Heat oil. Add Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom & Fennel Seeds.
2. Add onions and saute till golden brown
3. Add ginger garlic paste, green chilli, turmeric powder, chili powder, tomato puree & salt
4. Cook till it thicken then reduce flame
5. Add the prawns and curry leaves and cook till its 3/4th done
6. Add coriander powder and mix. Increase flame and cook till the masala thickens. Done!
