Post surgical strikes by India, J&K borders on high alert
Jammu and Kashmir, Sep 30 (ANI): The Border Security Force (BSF) has put all its units along the International Border on high alert, in the wake of the surgical strikes by India on terror launch pads across the Line of Control (LoC) on Wednesday night. BSF has restricted all civilian movement along borders with Pakistan and has also been asked by the Centre to provide manpower to local administration for evacuation of people from border villages to safer locations. Even the schools in the border belt were ordered to be closed following the escalation of tensions along the Line of Control (LOC) in Jammu and Kashmir villages. BSF headquarters in New Delhi has issued orders to all its units along International Border in Jammu, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat to step up vigil.
