Politicos react as RJD's Raghuvansh claims sages used to consume beef in Vedic times
New Delhi/ Patna, Oct 10 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday react as RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh claimed that sages used to consume beef in Vedic times. The statement has invited criticism from all quarters and the political parties are now taking turns in taking advantage of the situation created due to the topic. BJP leader Giriraj Singh said that Singh's remark on beef was an insult to all Hindus. Congress leader Shakeel Ahmed said that the politics should not be on beef but on development agendas. RJD leader Manoj Jha said the Raghuvansh Prasad's comments should only be viewed in historical context. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi said that such debates should not take place during polls.
