People welcome hike in cash withdrawal limit
New Delhi/Mumbai (Maharashtra), Feb 20 (ANI): Residents across the nation have welcomed the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) decision of hiking the savings banks accounts' cash withdrawal limits to Rs. 50,000 per week. Earlier, the limit was capped at Rs. 24,000 per week. As per RBI notifications, the limit is slated to be ceased from March 13. Earlier in January, the chief banking institution had ended all curbs on withdrawals from current accounts, cash credit accounts and overdraft accounts.
