PM Modi wishes US on its Independence Day, says strong relations will benefit world at large

New Delhi, July 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that strong relations between New Delhi and Washington DC will benefit people of both countries and the world at large, wishing the citizens of United States on that nation's Independence Day. The Prime Minister shared his message via a post on twitter. "Dearest Sisters and Brothers of U.S.A, on the occasion of Independence Day, I convey my warm wishes to you all. The ties between India and USA are time tested and connected by shared values. We are both vibrant democracies and remain very proud of our democratic framework," his message read. "I am extremely excited and confident about the renewed energy in India USA ties. Our economic ties are strong and our cultural ties are vibrant. Last year I visited USA and in January this year, President Obama came to India and became the first ever President of USA to join our Republic Day celebrations as the Chief Guest. Substantial ground was covered during both these visits as far as strengthening India USA ties are concerned," it added.
