PM Modi pays floral tribute at bust of former PM Shastri
Tashkent (Uzbekistan), June 24 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday paid floral tribute at the bust of former prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri in Tashkent (Uzbekistan). A prominent figure in the independence movement, Shastri died of a heart attack in Tashkent in 1966 during an official visit at the age of 61. PM Modi was on a two-day visit to the Uzbek capital to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit.
