PM Modi assures help to Sri Lankan leaders on Tamil community issue
New Delhi, Aug 24 (ANI): Leader of Sri Lanka's Tamil National Alliance (TNA), R Sampanthan said that the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, assured them all help to ensure justice and self-respect for the Tamil minority in the island nation. Reportedly, Modi told the TNA delegation to address the aspirations of the Tamil community in Sri Lanka. Modi also assured full support to provide relief rehabilitation and reconstruction to the northern and eastern areas of Sri Lanka, where millions were displaced by war.
