PM Modi addresses 'International Buddha Poornima Diwas' Celebration
New Delhi, May 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed the 'International Buddha Poornima Diwas' celebration in New Delhi. Modi expressed concern over Nepal crisis due to earthquake. He said that the land where Buddha was born is in distress today. Modi then said that the whole world knows that 21st century is Asia's century but without Buddha it would not have been possible. He lauded Gautum Buddha for the ideals by which he led his life. Modi also said that in this world when there are lots of problems in the world, we get message of compassion only through Lord Buddha.
