PM Modi Extends $ 4.5-Billion Credit Line to Bangladesh, $ 500 million for Defence agreement
New Delhi, Apr 08 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday announced a new line of concessional credit of USD 4.5 billion to Bangladesh for the implementation of various projects. PM Modi also announced an additional credit of USD 500 million to Bangladesh for its defence procurements. For its implementation, the prime minister said that the Line of credit will be guided by the Bangladesh’s needs and priorities. PM Modi had held an extensive discussion with his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina o ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two nations.
