PM LEAVES FOR HOME POST HIS SUCCESSFUL JAPAN VISIT
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for home after concluding a successful visit to Japan during which the host nation promised to grant $35 billion to India over the next five years for developmental projects. Japan also promised help in making Varanasi a ‘smart city’ and the two nations signed five pacts during Modi’s visit. During an Indian community reception hosted in his honour in Tokyo, the PM said that his ‘visit has been very successful’.
