PK Sinha appointed new Cabinet Secretary
New Delhi, May 29 (ANI): Pradeep Kumar Sinha was appointed the new Cabinet Secretary on Friday. Sinha will replace Ajit Seth who is completing his term next month. Sinha has been holding the post of Power Secretary since July 2013. He has earlier held the post of Secretary in the Ministry of Shipping, and has held several other important positions in the Union Government and the State of Uttar Pradesh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also approved that Sinha may be appointed as OSD in the Cabinet Secretariat with effect from the date of assumption of charge, till June 12, 2015.
