PATIALA SARPANCH SHOT DEAD OVER DISPUTE ON DEVELOPMENTAL WORK
An sarpanch in Patiala district of Punjab has been shot dead after a dispute over layout plan of sewer pipeline being laid in his village. Police said that sarpanch of Paliaan village Palwinder Singh, who was also a member of market committee of Bhadson town, was shot by one Mewa Singh while supervising development works in his village.
