One killed, 15 houses washed away in Manipur flash floods
Manipur, May 25 (ANI): A boy was killed and at least 15 houses washed away in flash floods in Manipur. Manipur is on the brink of facing a major flood if water levels of main rivers do not recede quickly. Five floodgates of Ithai Barrage have also been opened as a precautionary measure. With all major rivers draining, a large section of people have been caught in a panicky situation and many of them have started building dykes and embankments along vulnerable river banks.
