OROP issue: Govt has no money for ex-servicemen, says Mehbooba Mufti
Jammu, Sept 04 (ANI): Peoples Democratic Party leader Mehbooba Mufti addressed people of Jammu on Friday. Mufti said that ex-servicemen have been protesting from past two months demanding for one rank one pension but government says that they do not have money to fulfill the demand. She added, Government has enough money to provide arms and weapons to the Army but there is no money for ex-servicemen. Mufti also added that providing employment to the youth of Jammu & Kashmir is a responsibility of Indian government and not Pakistan’s. On the matter of discussions on television channels, Mufti said that there would not be any solution if 3-4 persons from India and Pakistan will be contemplating only on TV shows over the Kashmir issue.
