Nominations filed for elections to choose Nepal's next PM
Kathmandu, Oct 10 (ANI): The procedure of filing nominations for the highest ministerial post in Nepal gained momentum on the final day on Saturday before the country is set to face the elections for PM's post tomorrow. Sushil Koirala filed the nomination papers today in the country's capital Kathmandu. He has been fielded as the Nepal Congress candidate in the upcoming election. The decision was taken after a party meeting was held between the top three party leaders, including party president Sushil Koirala, senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba and Vice-President Ram Chandra Paude, reports say. CPN-UML's candidate, KP Sharma Oli also went to file his nomination papers on Saturday. Oli and Koirala are contesting against each other, strongly competing for the PM post in the country. The candidates have to file their nomination by this evening.
