Nirmal Khatri replaces Bahuguna as UP Congress chief
New Delhi/ Lucknow, Aug 28 (ANI): Congress appointed Nirmal Khatri as the new party president in Uttar Pradesh, replacing Rita Bahuguna Joshi, who held the same post for five years. Khatri, after assuming the post, said that his aim would be to strengthen his party and interact with the public on an individual level. Meanwhile, Congress leader and former President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee Rita Bahuguna Joshi welcomed the decision taken by the party high command, adding that Khatri s experience would come to good use in strengthening the party.
