New members of Vatican's elite Swiss guards sworn in
The swearing-in ceremony for new members of the Vatican's elite Swiss guard takes place on Friday in Vatican City. Held each year on May 6, the event commemorates the 147 halberdiers who died defending the Pope in 1527.
