Navy Chief infuses confidence in young cadets at passing out parade

Pune, Nov 28 (ANI): The passing out parade of 129th course of the National Defence Academy was held in Maharashtra's Pune city on Saturday. Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Robin Dhowan, received the guard of honour as the young cadets marched past him in flawless coordination at the Khetrapal Parade Ground in Pune city. Infusing confidence in the outgoing batch, Admiral Dhowan asked the cadets to develop a "yes, I can" spirit. NDA is a premier training institute of India where cadets of the three services including Army, Navy and Air Force undergo training prior to their pre-commission training at their respective academies. NDA holds the distinction of being the first tri-service academy in the world. The passing out cadets were conferred Bachelor of Science (BSc), BSc (Computer Science) and Bachelor of Arts degrees awarded by the state run Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Among those present at the parade were the parents and guardians of cadets as well as the top brass of defence services.
