Naroda Patiya Verdict, triumph of justice and witnesses: Teesta Setalw
New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): Even as a special court convicted 32 people today including BJP MLA and former minister in the Narendra Modi government Maya Kodnani, in the 2002 Naroda Patiya riots case, Social activist Teesta Setalvad has said that the verdict was a huge victory for judgment and for the witnesses, particularly women who showed courage to come out. Meanwhile, slamming Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, Congress Leader, Digvijay Singh said that it was now clear that the ministers had acted at the behest of Modi. The victims relatives and kin also expressed their happiness over the verdict and stated that the guilty deserved to be punished.
