NNIS SPECIAL: AREN’T THE PLAYERS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE IPL MESS?
Since the last eight years, the Indian summer has brought glitz, glamour, huge cheering crowds and the glamour of celebrities all in one place – the Indian Premier League. But since its inception, the IPL has its share of cheers and jeers. On14th June, 2015 the Supreme Court appointed Justice Lodha Committee did the unthinkable in Indian cricket, a job the BCCI should have done, by suspending two franchises for a period of two years and their owners for a life time. But still the big question remains unanswered – aren’t the players not accountable too?
