NGO comes to rescue of Pakistani sisters who were lodged in Amritsar Jail for 10 years

Amritsar (Punjab), April 07 (ANI): It's finally homecoming for these two Pakistani sisters. Batala based NGO, 'Sarbat Da Bhala Humanity Club', has paid a fine of Rs. 4 lakhs to the Indian court for the release of two Pakistani sisters who were lodged in Amritsar Jail for the past 10 years. These two Pak sisters were imprisoned in a drug trafficking case. Both the sister had to go for another 4 years of imprisonment if they were unable to pay the imposed a fine of Rs. 4 lakhs but luckily the NGO came to the aid of these sisters. At the time of the arrest, one of the prisoners Fatima was pregnant and had delivered her baby girl in the jail. 'Sarbat da Bhala Humanity Club' NGO led by Navtej Singh Gaggu has a reputation for helping the people in need whilst urging the Govt. to spread love and peace between the two countries.
