Muslim cleric says Muslims fear Modi, politicos react
New Delhi/ Lucknow, April 16 (ANI): Leaders from various national and regional political parties on Wednesday reacted to Muslim Cleric Kalbe Jawad's remark that Muslims fear Narendra Modi and that Rajnath Singh can be a better PM face. Congress leader Meem Afzal stated that Modi was quite responsible for 2002 Gujarat riots. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi said that there is a belief in the entire nation that Modi is against Muslims. Meanwhile, SP leader Rajendra Chaudhary has said that BJP always spreads disbelief among people. Rajya Sabha MP Mohd Adeeb has stated that religious leaders should be kept away from politics to prevent vote exploitation.
