Moga incident: HC takes suo motu cognizance, refers case to another bench
New Delhi, May 04 (ANI): Taking suo motu cognizance of the Moga incident, in which a teenage girl was allegedly molested and pushed out of a moving bus, the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Monday referred the case to another bench. The date of next hearing has not been fixed by the court. The shocking incident took place last week after the victim, along with her mother, was pushed off a moving bus after they resisted the molestation attempt. The bus, in which the incident took place, is owned by the family of Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal. Meanwhile, the mortal remains of the girl were consigned to flames in her hometown Moga in Punjab on Sunday.
