Modi s malnutrition remark draws flak
New Delhi, Aug 30 (ANI): Coming in strong defence of its leader and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi over his remark on the state s high malnutrition rates, the BJP today said that the Congress is scared of him and attacks his every remark. The statement made by the chief minister that vegetarianism and figure conscious girls are the main reason for the state s high malnutrition rates today landed him in the midst of the controversy. Slamming the chief minister, Congress leaders termed the remark as shameful and called him a disgrace to democracy. Meanwhile, Janata Dal (United) senior leader Shivanand Tiwari said that the remark raised a concern on the health of anaemic women in the country.
