Modi’s foreign visits bring positive focus to India, says business association

New Delhi, May 26 (ANI): President of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Doctor Jyotsna Suri, has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s bilateral visits in foreign lands have brought positive focus to India. While addressing a news conference in New Delhi on completion of the Bharatiya Janata Party government’s one year in power, she said that the pro-investment policies of the Modi government were not against the common man and national interest. The main achievement of the government in the past year is the creation of a positive business sentiment, restoration of investor confidence and establishment of ‘Brand India’, by framing policies that rest on transparency and fairness, she added. However, one of the former presidents of FICCI, R V Kanoria, said the government must strive to do away with the negativity surrounding its policies.
