Maulana Masroor Jhangvi sweeps Punjab by-election in Pakistan
New Delhi, Dec 02 (ANI): Independent candidate Maulana Masroor Nawaz Jhangvi on Thursday won the by-elections for the Punjab Assembly constituency PP-78 in Jhang, defeating Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) rivals by a wide margin. Maulana Masroor Nawaz Jhangvi is the son of slain cleric Maulana Haq Nawaz Jhangvi, who raised voice against Iranian revolution and Iranian anti-Sunni activities all over the world.
