Masala Dosa Recipe
Ingredients: Dosa Batter
Potatoes - 5 nos
Onions - 2 nos
Green Chilli - 3 nos
Piece of Ginger
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Few Coriander leaves
For Tempering
Oil - 2 tsp
Chana Dal - 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli - 2 nos
Asafoetida powder - 1/4 tsp
Few Curry leaves
Method:
1. Heat oil. Add Chana dal, urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, red chillis, asafoetida powder and curry leaves.
2. Once the mustard seeds start crackling, add the ginger, onions and green chillis.
3. Add turmeric powder, mashed potatoes and salt. Mix well
note: Add a table spoon of water if its too dry
4. Garnish with coriander leaves and keep aside
5. Pour the dosa batter and spread it around the pan.
6. When the dosa crisps, add the potato masala.
7. Fold/roll the dosa out of the pan and serve hot!
