Maoist fear driving tribals out of their homes
Jharkhand, Aug 05(ANI): Shailendra, a contractor from naxal affected Kasia Beda village, in Jharkhands Jamshedpur district, is a victim of naxal atrocities. From 2003 to 2006 Naxals continuously visited him at his home who tried to make him join their outfit. But, Shailendra has refused to do so, and had no option but to migrate to Jamshedpur in 2007, leaving behind his house in the village and agricultural land. Amrita Pater and her family, too, are victims of Naxal atrocities. In 2011, Naxals came to the village and brutally killed her husband as they suspected him of being a police informer.
