Mani Ratnam's 'OK Kanmani' to be remade in Hindi?
Mani Ratnam's OK KANMANI has garnered very good responses from audiences and has done very well in the box office. If sources are to be believed, the movie is all set to be remade in Bollywood. Shaad Ali, a former associate of Mani Ratnam is said to helm the project. Shaad has previously remade the Mani Ratnam's classic Alaipaayuthe as Saathiya, and many believe he will do justice to the original source.
The movie is rumoured to star Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapoor in places of Nithya Menon and Dulqer Salmaan. Earlier rumours were floating around saying that the original picks weren Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, but were unable to take up the project because of their busy schedules.
The other cast and crew members are yet to be finalized, but the music, composed by AR Rahman for the original, will be brought on for the remake as well.
