Making FTII issue political biggest mistake, govt will work to strengthen institution: Rajyavardhan
New Delhi, Aug 03 (ANI): Minister of State for I and B Ministry, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Monday said that making the FTII issue political is the biggest mistake and that it should not have been done. He said that the government is ready to discuss the issue with the students and is also liberal towards them but the latter wants to continue with the protest. Rathore said that FTII is an important institution and that the government will work to strengthen it. He also maintained that the institution comes first and then comes the students, for the government. Meanwhile, the students of the FTII along with many others are all set to stage a protest in Delhi today.
