MP twin train derailment: Railway PRO confirms 12 deaths
New Delhi, Aug 05 (ANI): The PRO of Railways Anil Saxena on Wednesday confirmed twelve deaths in the twin train derailment incident of Madhya Pradesh. Saxena said that rescue operations are in the last phase. He also said a compensation of Rs 2 lakh will be given to the family of the deceased while Rs 50, 000 will be given to those critically injured. He added that Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu has expressed condolences to the families of those affected. Saxena also said that Commissioner Railway Safety will probe into the mishap.
