MP farmers give free onions against receding prices
Ratlam, May 02 (ANI): The farmers in Madhya Pradesh's Ratlam city distributed onions for free as a symbol of protest against the minimal selling prices of the vegetable. The farmers distributed two trolleys of the vegetable that is being sold at 50 paise per kilograms in the wholesale market. One kilogram of onions, however, cost Rs. seven to a farmer.
