MP CM assures compensation to adversely affected farmers by drought
Bhopal, Oct 09 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Friday assured compensation to adversely affected farmers by drought and erratic rainfall during this monsoon season. He cited various crops that have been destroyed and said the state government is willing to extend full support to the affected farmers and said the compensation money shall be wired soon in their bank accounts. His assertion came in the backdrop of recent incidents of suicides by farmers in the state and reports of massive crop loss.
