MAHATMA GANDHIS ASSASSINATION RECORD SAFE: GOVT
Two days after CPI-M MP P Rajeev alleged that 1.5 lakh files including those related to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi were destroyed on directions of the Prime Minister, Home Minister Rajnath Singh on behalf of the NDA government gave assurance and said that though 11,000 files were destroyed as per PM’s orders to weed out files and papers but none of these are related to the assassination of Gandhi.
