Locals and Politicos denounce petrol price hike

New Delhi/Mumbai, July 24 (ANI): Commuters across India denounced the steep petrol price hike by the oil companies forcing to them to search for alternative mode of transport to manage their household budget. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) raised petrol prices from today by 70 paise per litre, excluding taxes. A local, Harsh Grover in New Delhi said that the hike in the price of petrol would make a hole in their pocket. Expressing dissatisfaction with the hike in the price of petrol, CPI leader D Raja said that another hike in the petrol price would burden the common man. BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain also raised his voice against the decision to hike the price of petrol and demanded a rollback.
